Harbours

Harbors are paper high heels designed for men. Inspired by Jørn Utzon's Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge, these high heels are made using only paper and white glue. They were successfully worn by me during a runway walk. Designed by Ian Leighly and Sarah Spalding.

Striking Design

Using design cues found in the architecture surrounding Sydney Harbour, these heels have a very unique presence when worn.

A successful walk

Despite being made from paper and glue, Harbours successfully survived a runway walk on my feet.

Surprisingly Strong

Using layers and coils of printer paper and Bristol paper, Harbours are able to support several hundred pounds.
