Phoenix

A compostable jewelry box constructed of oak, Phoenix expresses the life cycle of the tree from which it is constructed. Made to be used by generations, if it is ever broken or no longer necessary it may be returned to the Earth where it will spawn new trees in its place.

Growth

Phoenix's lid gives the impression of growth and a reminder of the destruction of nature happening around the world.

New Life

Inserted into the bottom of the box, twenty-five acorns await planting. Upon disposal, Phoenix will birth new oak trees to replenish the life used in its creation.
